直接從你的銀行帳戶扣錢。Debit card 刷的是你帳戶裡自己的錢，刷完餘額就變少；credit card 是先跟銀行借、之後再還。在刷卡機上選 Debit，通常會要你輸入卡片密碼（PIN）。
Common mistake常見的誤會
店員問「Debit or credit?」是在問這張卡要用哪一種方式扣款，不是在問你有沒有信用。另外，銀行帳戶明細上的 debit 是「被扣掉的一筆錢」，credit 是「進來的一筆錢」。
