租屋裡的 notice 是正式的通知，多半要用書面。房東要進屋或調房租，通常會先給你 notice；你要搬走，通常也要提前給房東 notice。提前幾天、用什麼方式給，看你的租約，各州規定也不同。
Common mistake常見的誤會
跟房東口頭說一聲「我要搬了」，不一定算是 notice。租約上常寫 written notice，意思是要用書面；要提前多久、用什麼方式給，看你的租約。
