移民局核發、准許在美國工作的許可。核准後拿到的是一張卡，叫 EAD（Employment Authorization Document），卡片上印著類別代碼（Category）和到期日（Card Expires）。
Common mistake常見的誤會
Employment Authorization 和 Employment Verification 長得很像，是兩件事。Authorization 是工作許可；租屋或貸款時說的 employment verification，是對方向公司確認你在那裡上班。
