Credit 是什么意思？What does Credit mean?
银行愿意先借钱给你、相信你之后会还，这份信任叫 credit。美国的银行、房东、运营商常会先看你过去借钱和还钱的记录（credit history），再决定要不要批准你的申请。

Credit 在不同场合是不同的意思。申请表上的 credit history 是信用记录；结账时店员说的 credit 是用信用卡付；账单上有一行写 credit，是退回或折抵给你的钱，不是多收你一笔。
