人在美國境內，向移民局申請綠卡的程序，中文常說「調整身分」，英文常縮寫成 AOS。對應的表格 Form I-485，標題裡寫的是 Adjust Status。
Common mistake常見的誤會
Adjustment of Status 和 Change of Status 長得很像，是兩件事。Adjustment 講的是申請綠卡；Change 講的是從一種非移民類別換成另一種。
