移民文件上，petition 是替誰提出的，那一方就是 beneficiary。雇主替員工提出時，員工是 beneficiary；家人替親屬提出時，親屬是 beneficiary。通知書上 Beneficiary 那一欄寫的就是這一方的姓名。
Common mistake常見的誤會
在銀行和保險的表格上，beneficiary 是之後領錢的「受益人」。在移民文件上，是 petition 替他提出的一方。同一個字，兩種場合。
