提出申請的人。表格上寫 Applicant 的欄位，填的是申請人自己的資料；Applicant's Signature 是申請人本人簽名的地方。幫忙口譯或代填的人，表格上另有 Interpreter 和 Preparer 的欄位。

Common mistake常見的誤會

Applicant 和 Beneficiary 是兩個不同的欄位。Applicant 是自己提出申請的一方；Beneficiary 是 petition 替他提出的一方。同一位當事人，在這份文件上是 Beneficiary，在另一份上可能是 Applicant。
