移民局收到申請文件後寄來的通知書，表格編號多半是 Form I-797C（I-797 系列的一種）。它的意思是「我們收到了」。信上有一組 Receipt Number，上網查案件進度時輸入的就是這組號碼。
Common mistake常見的誤會
Receipt Notice 不是核准，只代表「收到了」。核准的信叫 Approval Notice。兩封信的抬頭都有 Notice of Action 這幾個字，要看 Notice Type 那一欄寫的是哪一個字。
